History
The Bohemian Rex (Bohemian Rex), is also called Curly Persian (Tsudian Curly Cat ), created as a result of crossing a Persian cat with German and Cornish reks. The first long-haired reks appeared in the 70s in Cieszyn and two blue persians imported from Germany form the key to the secretive history of this new breed. However, the first kittens with established, stable characteristics were born in the city of Liberec in 1981. The Czech rex was not popular for many years due to the poor quality of fur, but nevertheless in 1989 it was registered as a new breed. Recent years have established a breed standard and eventually consolidated the desired traits of this breed.
Appearance
Czech reks have a semi-long to long fur in all color varieties, but individuals with short fur on the face and ears are accepted. Hair curls resemble the letter "J", "U" or "S".
Character
Very calm, emotional, likes the company of man.
