Online puzzle Lena Luthor

Lena Luthor is a fictional comic book character in DC Comics. In most versions of the Superman mythos, she is the sister of Superman's nemesis Lex Luthor.

Lena Luthor made her live-action debut in an episode of the television series Superboy. She later appeared as a regular character in the television series Smallville and was portrayed by actress Cassidy Freeman. This version of the character was named Tess Mercer until it was revealed to be Lutessa Lena Luthor. More recently Lena is portrayed by Katie McGrath in the television series Supergirl set in the DC Arrowverse.

Publication history

Lena Luthor first appeared in Superman's Girl Friend, Lois Lane #23 and was created by Jerry Siegel and Kurt Schaffenberger.

Fictional character biography

Pre-Crisis version

In Silver Age continuity, Lena is Lex Luthor's younger sister. After Lex began his villainous career, his family changed their last name in shame to the anagram "Thorul" and told Lena that Lex had been killed in a mountain-climbing accident. Soon after this they were killed in an auto accident.
