Master of Delft - a North Dutch artist active in 1495–1510 [1] or 1490–1520 [2] in Delfta. He is credited with the authorship of the triptych Crucifixion with scenes of the Passion. In the background of the events shown, the towers of the Nieuwe church in the Dutch city of Delft, the construction of which was completed in 1496, were recognized. His style is similar to that of another Delft artist, Master Virgo inter Virgines. It was characterized by a dynamic composition of crowded scenes, rich ornamental motifs and fanciful costumes.
