The Love sculpture project was created in 1964 as a Christmas postcard for the Museum of Contemporary Art in New York. In 1970, a ready-made sculpture made of steel was exhibited for the first time. Since 1975, it has been a permanent exhibition at the Indianapolis Museum of Art.
