The Seine is the third largest river in France. Its length is 776 km. The name Seine comes from the Celtic word squan and means "writhing like a snake". The river has its source near Dujon, in the central-western part of the country. It flows into the English Channel in Le Havre, in the Upper Normandy region. Strolling along the banks of the Seine, we will see many beautiful architectural monuments and amazing views.
