Central Park is one of the most famous city parks in the world. It was founded in 1853 between New York and Harlem. It was the first green area of this type in the entire United States. Though initially surrounded by wastelands, with time it found itself in the center of the world's metropolis, becoming the green lungs of all of New York. In Central Park you can find the Zoological Garden, dozens of sculptures and monuments, the City Art Museum, the American Museum of Natural History and many other interesting objects. All this means that Central Park is visited by over 35 million people each year.
