Recently, I have been seeing wheat being grown in places where rice was originally grown. Although wheat does not taste as good as white rice, it contains a better balance of dietary fiber and carbohydrates. Rice mixed with white rice and barley is delicious and may be what we need in the future. What surprised me the most was that the rice was already beautifully harvested in May, when rice planting takes place.
