In Austria, it is a delicatessen on the list of traditional food products under legal protection with an entry in the Register der Traditionellen Lebensmittel [1]. From August 28, 2018, Krakowska dry old Polish sausage has been entered into the European System for the Protection of Regional and Traditional Products [2]. Małopolska is famous both for the production of sausages, where the most famous is Kraków sausage, but also the Lisiecka sausage.
