Jiaozi (Chinese trad. 餃子, Chinese simplif. 饺子, pinyin jiǎozi), known in Japan as gyōza (ぎ ょ う ざ) - traditional Chinese dumplings, also popular in the cuisines of other East Asian countries. Similar to Polish dumplings, they are usually stuffed with meat with Chinese cabbage or, for example, ginger or chives, but in different regions of China they differ in the composition of the dough, filling and shape.
