Simon Glücklich (born March 27, 1863 in Bielsko, died March 29, 1943 in Munich) - Austrian painter at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries. He was born in Bielsko (today Bielsko-Biała) in Austrian Silesia as the son of the decorator painter Leo Glücklich. In the years 1880–1890 he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna. under the direction of Leopold Carl Müller. He lived in Vienna until 1917, then he settled in Munich. Two long journeys were of great importance for his work: in 1890 to northern Italy and in 1920 to the Baltic Sea.
