Giuseppe Arcimboldo or Arcimboldi (born 1527 in Milan, died 11 July 1593 ibid.) - Italian painter of the Mannerist period. He worked at the courts in Prague, Vienna and Milan. He was a painter creating in an original and eccentric way portraits and figural compositions with genre or allegorical content, which consisted of still life elements arranged in an image of a face or scene.
