Hello, the Harry Potter Wiki is having to frequently deal with an extremely disruptive vandal and sock puppeteer who vandalises Hermione Granger themed pages and files. This has been going on for some time now, and I do not like how they can return so easily and vandalise pages again. Their current name is "Raptordile139" and please ban them ASAP (if not already done so), and they're also a cross-wiki vandal. While our wiki rep Lady Lostris has programmed an abuse filter to immediately ban vandal accounts, it's performance is inconsistent at best, often many vandals (this one in particular) can vandalise loads of pages and the abuse filter not do anything. In short, this vandal appears to be using a VPN to override IP bans, which is sadly surprisingly tolerated on Fandom, as you do not ban VPNs despite their proven widespread uses for deception and abuse. How do you recommend this issue be dealt with long term? Aside from banning all these vandal accounts, we need something in place to stop them coming back or to immediately ban on sight; their last account was left allowed to vandalise for several hours before being banned. I hope this message reaches you well. Kind regards, RedWizard98 (talk) 18: 32, 5 April 2022 (UTC) Kirkburn already got it when I was eating. The thing is that. How you can ban VPNs on Fandom is not as simple. Their non-VPN range is a too wide range that could catch many good users especially since your wiki is extremely popular, and if they switch to
