Still life with a green pitcher - oil painting by Polish Impressionist Józef Pankiewicz from 1929, located in the Gallery of Polish Art 1800-1945 at the Silesian Museum in Katowice.
The manner of presentation and selection of colors betrays Pankiewicz's interest in the workshop of Dutch masters of the 17th century. The painting was made in 1929. The 46.5 × 61.5 cm piece is signed in the upper left corner: Pankiewicz. The artist painted still life, which consists of: a pitcher, a glass, a basket, a tablecloth and fruit, including pomegranates, figs and grapes. The Silesian Museum in Katowice acquired the painting from the patron artist Stefan Oderfeld through the Warsaw art salon Henryk Koterba in 1938. Museum inventory number : WSC / SzM / 442.
