The goal of PTI is to support scientific and professional activities in the areas related to computer science, popularize computer science, and represent the environment of IT specialists before institutions in the country and abroad.
Skupia (in 2017 ) approx. 1250 members. He is the organizer of cyclical environmental ventures (domestic and international conferences, integration meetings of IT specialists, competitions, prizes).
The Polish Information Processing Society organizes exams to obtain the European Computer Skills Certificate (ECDL) and IT Professionals Certificate (EUCIP). The PTI Experts' Center provides services in the area of: performing expert opinions and audits (including security audits), research, analysis and evaluation of projects, IT systems and solutions, and substantively supports clients in preparing the ToR and conducting the tender process.
