Tadeusz Kulisiewicz (born November 13, 1899 in Kalisz, died on August 18, 1988 in Warsaw ) - Polish graphic artist and draftsman.
Biography
Tadeusz Kulisiewicz graduated from the State Junior High School and High School Tadeusz Kościuszko in Kalisz, in the collection of which the artist 's earliest works are located. He studied art at the State School of Decorative Arts in Poznań (1922-1923) and at the School of Fine Arts in Warsaw (1923-1929), in the studios of professors Miłosz, Mieczysław Kotarbiński and Władysław Skoczylas. From 1926 he belonged to the Association of Polish Graphic Artists "Ryt". In the years 1933-1939 he ran drawing courses at the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts in the studio of Mieczysław Kotarbiński. From 1946 he was a professor at the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw. In 1955 he became a correspondent member of the Academy of Arts in Berlin, and in 1965 he was awarded the honorary membership of the Academy of Fine Arts in Florence.
