History and architecture The first wooden church was built in the village in 1366. According to the records of the income book from 1648, masses were held in the church in Poznań only once a quarter, and also on the feast of the parish patron and titular holidays [2]. The present brick and plastered building in the Classicist style was erected around 1800. It is built on a rectangular plan, with a presbytery narrower than the nave, and is covered with a gable roof. A tower rises above the porch [3]. Equipment The furnishings of the church include, among others. the main altar (the figure of Michael the Archangel in the center), the side altar of Our Lady of Częstochowa with a rosary, as well as the pulpit with the image of the four Evangelists [3]. Surroundings The church is surrounded by a wall. In the church cemetery there is a grave of the Błania family (Silesian insurgents) from 1921, entered in the register of monuments on June 17, 1988 under the number I-176/88 [1]. Within the walls, a steel belfry was erected in 1983 (bells named after the saints: Michael the Archangel, Florian and Jacek). At the church there is also a stone cross with the crucified Christ on top of a plinth with a statue of the Mother of God [3]. On the pedestal there is a German inscription Es ist Vollbracht! [4]. Outside the wall there is a commemorative stone with the old names of the village, and next to it there is an old farm plow [4].
