History The first church in the village was wooden and its history dates back to the beginning of the 14th century. There are no remains of it. The present building was erected in the years 1925–1930 from the foundation of parishioners. The builders were bricklayers from the vicinity of Krakow, while the designer was Wacław Borowiecki. As a result of the efforts of the parish priest Adam Aleksiewicz, the consecration took place in 1930. It was made by Bishop Paweł Kubicki [1]. The 550th anniversary of the parish was celebrated by Bishop Henryk Tomasik. MP Robert Telus [2].
