Immediately after her 30th birthday Perroni left for the USA. She decided to take a break from the soap opera and return to music. She prepared the first solo album in New York, she perfected her vocal and dancing skills, attended English classes and took part in photo sessions. The premiere of the first solo album Eclipse de Luna took place on August 23, 2013. In 2013, Perroni also recorded a song "Inexplicable" in a duo with Brazilian artist Thiaguinho, used for the re-release of the album in Brazil.
