A graduate (1964) of the Faculty of Sculpture at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk, known for his spectacular monumental realizations and religious works. He made numerous plates, busts and figures for the cathedrals in Olsztyn, Gniezno, Łomża, Gdańsk and Gorzów. Interior designer of numerous churches. He is especially known for his monumental projects such as: "What for the Polishness of Gdańsk" in Gdańsk [1], Wybicki in Kościerzyna, Izydor and Teodora Gulgowski in Wdzydze and numerous commemorative plaques, especially in Pomerania and Warmia, medallions (incl. a series of 27 medals with the busts of Pomeranian dukes) and medals. Author of the coat of arms of the Pomeranian Voivodeship [2] and the new monument to Świętopełk II the Great in Gdańsk [3]. Author of the sculpture of the Primate of the Millennium from the Gniezno cathedral. He is the older brother of Jerzy Samp [4].
