Stanisław Dziwisz, after being unveiled together with Archbishop Kosice and the nuncio, Archbishop. Henryk Nowacki - during the celebration of the 10th anniversary of John Paul II's visit to Košice, who visited the city in 1995 [2]. The metal and granite monument shows the Pope with his right hand raised, and on the pedestal - three martyrs from Košice (including St. Melchior Grodziecki [3]) canonized by him in 1995 [4]. The monument unveiling ceremony was attended by, among others Michal Kováč, Rudolf Schuster, Ján Figeľ and Alojz Tkáč.
