Słupsk (German: Stolp, pronounced [ʃtɔlp]; Kashub. Stôłpsk [2], Slovenian. Slȧ̃psk [3]) - a city with poviat rights in northern Poland, in the Pomeranian Voivodeship, the seat of the Słupsk poviat authorities and the Słupsk commune. It is situated on the Koszaliński Coast, on the Słupia River, by the European route E28, the former seat of Pomeranian dukes. In the years 1975–1998 Słupsk was the seat of the administrative authorities of the Słupsk province. He is a member of the Association of Polish Cities [4]. According to data from December 31, 2019, the city had 90,681 inhabitants [5]. Historically it is associated with Western Pomerania [6]. The patron of the city is Bl. Bronisław Kostkowski [7].
