Tarzan (born as John Clayton) - a literary figure invented by Edgar Rice Burroughs. The first of the series of books entitled Tarzan among the Milk (Tarzan of the APES) was published in the newspaper in 1912, and as a book appeared in 1914. Then he wrote twenty-three further parts.
