Teen cellist Mia Hall (Chloë Grace Moretz) has loving parents Kathleen (Mireille Enos) and Dennis (Joshua Leonard), talent and a musical career ahead of her. One day, Mia drives with her family to her grandparents. They have a serious accident while traveling.
