Karol Sevilla was born in the city of Mexico. She studied acting at the Centro de Educación Artística Televisa. She graduated from this place in 2006-2008. Her acting career began at the age of six (October 11, 2005), beginning with commercials before she reached television series.

Her first television appearances took place in 2008 in the soap opera Rywalka from the heart, where she played Gina, niece of Ernest, played by Venezuelan actor and drummer Jorge Aravena. In 2010 she took part in the Mexican soap opera Para volver a amar as a special guest. The following year she was part of the soap opera Amorcito corazón, an adaptation of the Venezuelan soap opera Trapos íntimos, where she played Maria Luz, the daughter of one of the characters.
