Hibiki and Kanade are two girls who grew up together in the city of Kanon. They differ very much from each other, but they are connected by love to music. Although they still claim, they still remain the best friends. One day, they meet a woman named Humma, who was sent to Earth from Major Land to collect the scattered notes of Melody of Happiness. Hibiki and Kanade become Cure Melody and Cure Rhythm to collect notes and prevent them from getting into the hands of MPs Mefist of Minor Land. In order not to allow them to arrange Melody of Sorrow, Hibiki and Kanade must act in complete harmony.
