In inshore fishing, there are different techniques. One of them is the so-called "Seine": This type of inshore fishing consists of launching seine nets from the boat itself. Normally the system is simple, the boat anchors in a place where it finds an interesting school of fish, one end of the net is thrown, leaving the other attached to the boat, and then the boat surrounds the area where the fish are. Then the fishermen would pull the ends to close the net and now it would only be necessary to pull the nets to get the catch on the boat.
