El Torcal de Antequera is a natural area of 11.7 km² located in the municipality of Antequera, in the province of Malaga (Andalusia, Spain). It is known for the capricious shapes that the various erosive agents have shaped in its limestone rocks, constituting an outstanding example of a karstic landscape. Its origins go back to the Secondary or Mesozoic Era, more specifically to the Jurassic period. It has hiking trails and the entrance to the park is totally free. It has a very diverse and spectacular flora and fauna. In 2016 it was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
