The Sierra de Gata is one of the mountains that make up the Central System (Spain). Its peaks mark the limit between the provinces of Cáceres to the north (region of Sierra de Gata) and Salamanca to the south (regions of El Rebollar and Los Agadones). To the west it limits with the Sierra de la Malcata, on the border with Portugal.
