He was born in 1927 in Dobrynia near Cieklin, and from 1952 he lived in Jasło [1]. He worked mainly in wood, but also in clay, dough and made limestone figures. He also specialized in plaiting, he made musical instruments and carolling props. His works can be found in many national museums, including: MBL in Sanok [2], Nowy Sącz, Turek, Toruń, Kraków, Warsaw, Rzeszów and Jasło, and in foreign ones: Leipzig, Dresden, Košice and Paris [3]. The artist's greatest work is the Christmas nativity scene exhibited during the Christmas and New Year period in the parish church in Bączal Dolny, depicting scenes of the Holy Family, the arrival of shepherds, animals and the Adoration of the Three Wise Men from the East [4]. The facade of the crib is decorated with a semi-plastic sculpture of an angel with the inscription "Gloria in Excelsis Deo". He died on October 22, 2015 at the age of 88. The funeral Mass was celebrated on October 24 of that year at the Shrine of St. Antoni Padewski in Jasło (monastery parish of the Franciscans), after which he rested in the family tomb at the parish cemetery in Osiek
