Bursa (Greek Προύσα, Latin Prusa or Prussa, formerly Brusa or Brussa) - a city in northwestern Turkey, in the ancient land of Bithynia, the administrative center of the province (ilu) of Bursa. Located 25 km from the coast of the Sea of Marmara, at the foot of Mount Uludağ, formerly known as Mount Olympus. The first capital of the Ottoman Empire, currently the fourth largest city in Turkey. In 2014, Bursa, along with the nearby town of Cumalıkızık, was included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
