Góry Stołowe is a mountain range in the chain of the Central Sudetes. The slabs from the Upper Cretaceous sandstone are arranged horizontally - hence the name of the mountains, because it is flat like a table. The western part of the Stołowe Mountains is located in the Czech Republic and is called Broumovská vrchovina. The north-western edge of the range near Mieroszów - Gorzeszowa - Krzeszów - Chełmska - Okrzeszyna is called Zaworów. The highest peak of the Table Mountains is Szczeliniec Wielki.
