A Spanish island in the Atlantic Ocean, on the north-western coast of Africa, counted among Macaronesia. Santa Cruz de Tenerife is the largest city on the island and at the same time its capital and the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It is also, together with Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, the capital of the autonomy of the Canary Islands.
