Gardens of Versailles online puzzle
The garden at the Palace of Versailles (24 km from Paris) was established in the 17th century by order of King Louis XIV. They occupy 95 hectares and constitute the essence of French-style gardens. Nature is completely subordinated to human thoughts, almost every fragment is a carefully arranged scenery. Everything is planned; the location of terraces, fountains, sculptures, even paths and alleys, artificial lakes, carpet beds with geometric shapes, evenly trimmed trees and shrubs.
