An international team of astronomers, including scientists from the Astronomical Observatory of the Jagiellonian University, has published the most accurate map of the Universe in the history of low radio frequencies, created with the participation of the European network of LOFAR antennas. Thanks to it, it was possible to detect the faint glow of radio stars that exploded as supernovae in tens of thousands of ancient galaxies spread out to the farthest regions of the universe.
