Built at the end of the 19th century, around 1898. It was built before the inclusion of Wilda into the city area, in front of the municipal school (Margaretenschule), of which it was an integral part, at the then Gotthilf Berger Square. It still stands in the same place from the moment it was set up. The fountain was made in neo-Gothic forms of red, artificial sandstone, according to the design of professor Adolf F. Binder [1]. Currently, it is a compositional element of the park on the square.
