Landsberg am Lech - a small Bavarian town, located on the Lech River, approx. 50 km. from Munich. It received city rights in the 13th century, and in the 15th century defensive walls with beautiful gates were built, which can still be admired today. An interesting fact is that Adolf Hitler was imprisoned here after the failed Munich Putsch. Landsberg avoided destruction during World War II, which is why today it is a living open-air museum and a real pearl of ancient architecture (source: womenofpoland.pl). Photo fietzphotos
