Interesting fact: Ernest Hemingway loved cats (he had over 50 of them). Even though the writer's house in Key West is now his museum, there are still over 40 animals living there, lounging everywhere - on the bed in the bedroom, on a chair, on a bench in front of the house, or under a tree in the garden. Hemingway especially loved cats with polydactyly, i.e. with an extra claw (so-called six-toed cats), and he believed that a cat with this defect brings happiness (source: americaija.pl).
