The Chinese Pavilion (Tea Room) in Sanssouci Park in Potsdam - one of the buildings belonging to the Sanssouci Palace complex. The palace itself was built as a summer residence in the second half of the 18th century, commissioned by the King of Prussia, Frederick II the Great. The palace was to be a kind of temple of art and philosophy. The king met here with thinkers, writers and musicians.
