Bolków - a small Lower Silesian town, located on the border of the Western and Central Sudetes, in the former Duchy of Jawor. It received city rights as early as 1265. It is famous for the ruins of a medieval castle, beautiful 18th-century tenement houses and remnants of the times of intensive development of the textile industry (second half of the 19th century).
