Cuenca (full name: Santa Ana de los cuatro rios de Cuenca) - a city in southern Ecuador, in the mountain valley (Andes), on the Pan-American Road, the capital of the Azuay province. The third largest city in Ecuador, around 345,000. inhabitants (2013) [1]. Due to the historic buildings, the center is on the UNESCO World Heritage List.
