The sculpture was inaugurated on December 9, 1911. It is a monument that has a circular floor plan and in its center is a large tree, a swamp cypress. Around the tree is a white marble monument dedicated to the romantic poet Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer. It is one of the most famous roundabouts in the park for its particular beauty and composition
