The work 'Karajá' by artist Rubens Belém was created in 2009, and was created to compose the exhibition 'Ethnicities', launched in the same year, at the TRT 11 Memory Center (Regional Labor Court of the 11th Region), with the objective of to praise the hundreds of ethnic groups that inhabit the great Amazon region. The work portrays the figure of a Karajá teenager who is decorated for the Festa dos Aruanãs - Ritual of passage and appreciation of life, typical of the Karajá indigenous people, which is located in the states of Goiás, Mato Grosso, Tocantins and Pará.
