Bone china online puzzle
Bone porcelain - a type of porcelain made from incinerated bones of cattle, feldspar and kaolin [1] [2]. Bone china was first developed in 1745 by Thomas Frye [1], but it was not a commercial success [3] [4]. Then it was produced by the potter Josiah Spode, who in 1789-1793 developed a financially successful production [5] based on the proportion of 2 parts of bone ash, 1 part of feldspar and 1 part of kaolin [6]. Bone china is distinguished by a high level of whiteness and transparency [7] and mechanical strength [8] [1]. It is still produced today [1].
