Basilica of St. st. James the Apostle and St. Agnes, Virgin and Martyrs in Nysa is the largest sacred building in the city and a valuable monument. Due to the size of the body, historical conditions, and the bishops buried inside, as well as the existence of a theological seminary until recently, it is commonly referred to by the inhabitants as the Cathedral. It is a decanal church. The temple was officially named the basilica in 2009 [1]. On February 28, 2011, the building was declared a Historical Monument [2].
