Biography The artist known as Moritz Müller der Jüngere or Moritz II Müller came from a family of German painters. He was the son of Moritz Müller the Elder, grandson of Carl Friedrich Moritz Müller and father of Walter Hubert Müller (1912–1945). He was a student of his father and in order to distinguish his works from his paintings he used the abbreviation "jun." (M. Müller jun. München), which he stopped using after his father's death [1].
