White tiger - one of many variants of coloring tiger panther tigris (mammal from the kotowy family). Its characteristic features are: creamy or white mounting hair, pink nose, blue eyes and black, gray or brown stripes. The albino individuals with a snow-colored color of fur are poorly visible or completely invisible. Such tigers are a peculiarity sought by zoological gardens. In nature, these tigers live only in subtropical forests of Bengal, in north-eastern India. However, they are not other subspecies, but the color variants of the subspecies living there (Panthera Tigris Tigris). Best frequently, white individuals appear at the tiger of Amurski (Panthera Tigris Altaica). All white cats kept in zoological gardens come from one father named Mohman, whom he was captured in 1820. Two normally colored cats can also be two patients. However, this is only possible when both individuals are carriers of an impaired gene, responsible for the production of less melanin.
