Parnassius davydovi - a very rare species of butterfly from the swallowtail family. Occurs in Kyrgyzstan, in the Tienshan mountains. It was discovered in 2005 and described in 2006 [1]. Related species are Parnassius autocrator and Parnassius loxias. The species status has been confirmed by genetic tests [2].
