Brown top of the body covered with dark spots. The head, the front of the neck and the underside of the body are pinkish. The tail is long, wedge-shaped, and the rectrices are white. The head is small, with a blue eye ring and a dark spot on the ear covers. The neck is slender, purple gloss on its sides (barely visible in the female). Red legs.
