Lowland gorilla online puzzle
The lowland gorilla (Gorilla gorilla gorilla) - a subspecies of the western primate gorilla of the hominid family, the most numerous of the gorillas. Its population was estimated at around 100,000, but after another 125,000 were found in the north of the Congo. this number increased to 175-225 thousand [2] To distinguish it from another, also lowland, subspecies Gorilla beringei graueri (eastern lowland gorilla) is referred to as the western lowland gorilla. In March 2012, the sequencing of the genome of this subspecies was announced in Nature [3].
