Solec Kujawski (until November 22, 1924 Solec [3]; German Schulitz) - a town in the central part of Kujawy and the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Province, in the Bydgoszcz County, the seat of the municipal-rural commune of Solec Kujawski. It is situated on the left bank of the Vistula River, 20 km from Bydgoszcz (west) and 35 km from Toruń (east). The areas located south of the city are covered with one of the largest forest complexes in Poland - the Bydgoszcz Forest. A city on the border of Kujawy and Pomerania.
